Some people in Find → Contacts are public profiles. Before RUBINLAKE copies them to your organization's contacts, you must confirm that your use is lawful and purpose-bound.

The confirmation appears when you:

  • Copy public search results to contacts (single or bulk)
  • Add public profiles to lists in flows that require consent

What you confirm

RUBINLAKE asks you to acknowledge that:

  1. You retrieve and use data only for a legitimate business purpose (for example B2B communication or recruiting).
  2. Access is required for that purpose and does not override the data subject's interests.
  3. You will use data lawfully and for the stated purpose, and understand that access may be logged.

All checkboxes must be accepted before the profile unlocks.

Tips for teams

  • Only copy profiles you intend to work with immediately.
  • Document your outreach or recruiting purpose in notes or tasks after saving.
  • Train new users on this flow during onboarding so they understand why consent is required.

After consent and save, you can enrich contact details, add the person to lists, or link them to a recruiting job.
