Connect Zoho CRM to send companies and contacts from RUBINLAKE into your Zoho account. Unlike Pipedrive and HubSpot, Zoho uses OAuth. You do not paste an API token. Instead, sign in to Zoho in your browser and approve access.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • An active Enterprise plan for your RUBINLAKE organization
  • A Zoho CRM account with permission to authorize third-party apps
  • Access to the Zoho organization that should receive the data

Connect in RUBINLAKE

  1. Sign in to RUBINLAKE.
  2. Go to Account → Integrations.
  3. Find Zoho CRM and click Connect.
  4. RUBINLAKE redirects you to Zoho.
  5. Sign in to Zoho if you are not already signed in.
  6. Review the requested permissions and click Accept (or the equivalent approve action).
  7. Zoho redirects you back to RUBINLAKE.
  8. Wait for the confirmation message, then return to Integrations.

On success, Connection details shows your linked Zoho account, token expiry (if available), and last verification time.

What Zoho asks you to approve

RUBINLAKE requests access to manage Accounts, Contacts, and Notes in Zoho CRM, and to read field settings needed for mapping. You approve these permissions on the Zoho consent screen during connect.

You do not need to create API keys or copy tokens manually for Zoho.

What gets sent to Zoho CRM

RUBINLAKE Zoho CRM
Company Account
Contact Contact

Accounts receive fields such as name, industry, website, description, revenue, employee count, phone, and address fields.

Contacts receive fields such as name, email, phone, job title, LinkedIn, and address fields. Contacts are linked to their employer account when that company exists in Zoho or was pushed from RUBINLAKE.

RUBINLAKE can also add a note titled Rubinlake profile with additional profile context.

Zoho integrations do not send contact profile photos.

Token refresh and reconnect

RUBINLAKE stores OAuth tokens securely and refreshes them automatically when needed. If the connection expires or Zoho access is revoked:

  1. Go to Account → Integrations
  2. Open Connection details for Zoho CRM
  3. Click Reconnect and complete the Zoho consent flow again

Tips

  • Choose the correct Zoho organization on the consent screen if you belong to more than one.
  • Only one Zoho CRM connection is allowed per RUBINLAKE organization.
  • If connect fails after approval, try again in a private browser window or after signing out of other Zoho sessions.
