Cancel and reactivate your subscription

What cancellation does to access and credits, and how to undo it.

Cancellation lives under Account → Plan and billing (/account/billing), at the bottom in the Danger zone. Only the billing owner sees it.

What cancelling does

You cancel at the end of the current billing period, not immediately. The confirmation dialog names the exact date and three consequences worth knowing first:

  • You keep full access until that date.
  • Unused credits expire once access ends. That includes purchased credits from top-ups.
  • Everyone in your organization loses access on the same day, not just you.

Until that date you can undo the cancellation at any time.

Cancel

  1. Open Account → Plan and billing.
  2. Scroll to the Danger zone.
  3. Choose Cancel subscription.
  4. Read the date and the consequences in the dialog, then confirm.

Afterwards the subscription card shows Ends on {date} instead of the status. That is deliberate: the technical status stays “Active” until the last day, which would suggest nothing had happened.

Your team sees the same notice even without billing rights. Everyone loses access on the same day and should not find out on the day itself.

Reactivate

While the period is still running, the subscription card offers Reactivate subscription. One click and the subscription continues normally.

Only the billing owner can reactivate. The page tells everyone else so.

After the period has lapsed

Once the period is over there is nothing left to resume. The card then offers Choose plan, and you take out a new subscription. See Buy or change your plan.

Deleting your account is something else

Cancelling ends your organization's billing. Deleting your account removes your personal access and ends no subscription.
