Perspective is the switch at the top of the Signals workspace. It has two settings, and it changes both what you see and how heavily each event weighs.

Why the same event moves
A funding round is a strong sales signal and barely registers as a supply risk. A fire at a plant is the reverse. Priority is looked up per perspective, so switching the perspective re-ranks the list rather than only filtering it.
Some events belong to one perspective only
If an event type has no meaning in a perspective, it does not appear there at all. An empty list under one perspective does not mean nothing happened. Switch the perspective before concluding that a company has been quiet.
Alerting has its own perspective
The perspective you browse in is not the perspective that alerts you. Alerts follow the Alert perspective in the watchlist rules, which can be set to sales, to supplier, or to both.
