Report a signal

Report on any signal opens a short form with three choices:

  • Wrong company, when the event is real but attached to the wrong business
  • Wrong classification, when the type, the priority, or the perspective is off
  • A signal is missing, with the source address, when something happened and we did not catch it

A reviewer looks at every report. Reports about classification feed back into how future events of that type are read, so they are worth the thirty seconds.

Add a private signal

Some of what you know never appears in print: a call from a plant manager, a letter, something you saw on a visit. Add private signal records it with a headline, a description, a type, a date, and a free-text source such as a call, a letter, a visit.

A private signal is visible to your organization only, and it never joins the shared risk score that other organizations see. It does appear in your own workspace, your filters, and your risk matrix, so the picture you work from stays complete.

Private signals are available on paid plans.
