Watchlist rules

Decide which signals become alerts for your organization, per perspective, priority, category, and type of business relationship.

Open Watchlist rules from the Signals workspace. The rules apply to everyone in your organization, so agree them once rather than setting them per person.

What you can set

  • Alert perspective: alert on sales, on supplier, or on both
  • Minimum priority: lower signals stay in the workspace but never alert
  • Only these categories: leave empty to allow all nine
  • Risk matrix thresholds: where the medium, high, and critical zones begin

Rules per relationship

One rule for every company at once is always either too loud or too quiet. Set a separate rule per relationship family instead: alert on everything at a supplier, on growth at a customer, on nothing but the critical at a competitor.

A family left on As above inherits the general rule, so you only need to fill in the families you want to treat differently.

Delivery

The same drawer holds the daily email digest. Turning it on sends one email a day with the new alerts to everyone in your organization.

Tuning the volume

If alerts arrive too often, raise the minimum priority before you narrow the categories. Priority already accounts for how serious the event is and how well it is evidenced, so raising it drops the weakest signals first, while narrowing categories can hide a whole class of event you would have wanted.

Editing watchlist rules requires a paid plan. Reading the Signals workspace does not.
